Id say the best i've ever played is warcraft 3, I haven't played starcraft yet, And yes i agree that colony is the best strategy game on this site

Tough to decide between some good ones like Rise of Nations, Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour (including mods of course), and World in Conflict.

Can't say anything about Starcraft since that was... before my time as a video game player, and neither can I say anything about Company of Heroes, as I have not yet played that game.

Overall . . . hmmmm . . . Starcraft, Warhammer, Company of Heroes, and Empire: Total War are all fantastic. Even though I only get to play 'em like three times a year at my cousin's :/
