Most of you will say this goes in the Popular Media, but I don't.

If you have ever read the book, tell me what you think of it.

I am studying it right now in school and I think it was so sad.

uh, i read that book in english last year, and was forced to feel sympathy

Ugh I know! I mean it was a good book with good moments but geez >_>.

I already gave my opinion =P.
It was better than The Pearl, which we read after, which I absolutely hated reading [the only good part was the end, for morbid reasons...].

It was an interesting book to me, although I read it in 8th for a grade. It was strange how he describes all the terrible things that happened to him as he was a child and also how he remembered it all.

That's kinda heavy reading for an 8th grader. The most disturbing thing I read in the grade was Lord of the Flies. I'm going to read soon foe school though. So please no spoilers.

Oh my god, we read Night in my Freshman year, not because we had to, but my LA teacher wanted us to. That book... wow. It really got to me. And of course my LA teacher was veeerryyy "enthusiastic" and knew how to really mess with your emotions when she talked about things like the Holocaust... made me start crying in the middle of class.

My 8th grade class watched "Schindler's List" for a class project. We handled it. I'm pretty sure that 99% of people can handle violence by the age of 12.
