Anyone ever thought of a singing competition? This is the Art, Music, and Writing forum, yet I see no music?

Would anyone be interested in participating in a sort of "Armor Games Idol", a singing competition? You could record your voice with a mic then send it in... and there could be themes for each week.

There could be voting for who would "go to the next round" or it could be decided just by the judges.

As well, we could have it in the form of the poetry contest/ASC where there is a different competition each week.

Anyone interested?

Well this would obviously have to be done through a video hosting sight like youtube.

Yeah... But I ain't using my web cam... I don't want people on here seeing my beautiful face... (FYI I am an average guy... Minus my ponytail... and Dual Coloured eyes... So yeah... >_> I still ain't lettin yall see my face... I don't wanna scare the children :P)

I'm interested.

I'll point my camera at the wall and sing. I'll then put instrumentals over it, minus the actual voice. I will then provide a link to the original.

Sound good?

Do not, we can just pretend that they went through a huge competition and have somehow managed to get to the final 3 :P

I'll just record my voice with my Microphone, and then post a video on Youtube using one of my (Craptastic) photoshop pictures.

Oh by the way I'm sorta sick right now. I might sound. . . off.

I'm also partially tone deaf. I can't identify the difference between an E and an F on the top octave if I tried >>.<<

If I ever get into a band remind me not to sing.

Hehe, I can see this being really hilarious. My voice isn`t bad, I`m just kinda congested. I could play some´n on my guitar as well, if necessary.

So far, I'm thinking we won't have enough people to do an elimination style thing. So we could have maybe a couple rounds and then a final where AG'ers can vote on who they want.

Alright, has a test, I made a video on youtube of me singing, 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' - 'Snow', feel free to watch and laugh haha... (Horrible singing IMO.)

I have no singing talent :P
