title pretty much says it all, i was just intrested what you guys found your favourite or what you thinks the best zombie game of all time.(i didnt include arcade because you would only play those games for 5 mins at best)
i think my favourite zombie game would be left 4 dead. mainly because its extremely hard on the tougher difficulties and the game forced you to work together rather than the all too often seen everyman/woman for him/herself scenario.
i also thought it was good that the zombies sprinted and that the map randomized on each playthrough, not to mention that the pathfindinng of zombies is generally very good, they can sometimes get you when you glich to street level on certain maps.
Dead Rising... Because zombies that move faster than a jaunty stumble are an abomination of the entire concept. That, and the variety. Tossing CDs at a zombie isn't the best way to kill it but I love having the option to try.
resident Evil 5 only thing i didnt like about it was you couldn't buy ammo like all the others but still great
If you're talking about all the other Resident Evil games, then your dead wrong. (no pun intended!) RE5's merchants do sell ammo for the Grenade Launcher, RE4's merchants didn't sell any kind of ammo, and no other RE game has ever featured buying/selling. My favorite zombie game? It's a toss up between RE2, RE4, and RE5. RE5 not so much because co-op should never have happened in Resident Evil, and after the racism controversy, the game was mutilated pretty bad to be allowed. (The whole racism controversy? It came from a magazine article writer who did a review on RE5, and, being too damn lazy to flip over the box and read the word zombie, thought the game was about a white guy killing black people, for "fun" or something. What a bloody idiot.)
I dunno if Dead Space really counts. They aren't exactly convential zombies, more like aliens or mutants or something. If it does, though, add it to my list. XD
Not to be mean or nothin', but i personally think all the zombie games, movies, ect. are getting old and repetative. So many titles have fallen into the the zombie genre it's rediculous. I would like something else to show up for a change, and you can only do so much in zombie shooters. I like what CoD5 did with the zombie title, they incorporated it as a small part of a game rather than all of the game. Like i said, there is only so much you can do with zombies.
Flag RE4 doesn't have zombies, don't you remember that after you killed the first ganado the text said NOT A ZOMBIE lol, the same goes for RE5
I never noticed how blatanty they did that The actual text reads: He's definitely not a zombie..., and yet people constantly refer to them as zombies anyways. Theres a tasty cocktail of PWNED and FAIL in there.
