Assuming we are talking about PS3 and not the others, PS3 has better graphics and a bigger & better game library(I'm not talking about MMOs and flash games, I'm talking about REAL games). PS3 has blueray which means better movie quality. It can also substitue internet(not as well as the PC though). Also, I'm not a big fan of the mouse and keyboard combination, I would much rather have triggers, buttons, and the dual analog sticks. And plus, PS3 is WAY cheaper than a PC. Sure, in most cases with purchases you get what you pay for, but this is one exception.
pc games, mainly because some of the old classics are on the pc- while im not a fan of pc shooters you have to admit that the best strategy games ever made are on the pc. and tbh iv never liked playstation , everything about it just doesnt me. i find the pads got confusing button setup and feel wierd and iv never found a game that i would rather play on the ps3 than a pc or xbox. the topic is a bit vague are we talking about the system or the games on it?

not necesarily true some newer pc games have brilliant graphics and quite a few games on the pc that are on the ps3 aswell run a heck of a lot better on a pc( although you need a monster pc to see the best a game has to offer)
and ps3 doesnt have a bigger game library there a literally thousands of pc games out there and some of them are brilliant games.not to mention that in most cases a game thats on the ps3 is also on pc except a few ps3 exclusives.
blueray is totally overated if you watch a hd tv on a standard dvd and then a blueray dvd on the same tv there is no real noticable difference. you can also download mods for pc games that cant be intresting and quite funny to play with( running around with one of the mini-nukes liberty prime throws on fallout 3) not to mention map editor dlc exclusive to pc ( morowind editor, garden of eden creation kit for fallout 3) but the mouse and keyboard does take getting used to
but don't you think you could have the same quality of games (maybe even better) with a PS3?Example:I bought this new PC a few months ago specialized in gaming (which means it's more for gaming,you know),but I wasn't really satisfied with the video card,even though I had bought one of the latest gaming PC's.I spent about 1.200 dollars,but since the gaming industry is always making new games with better graphics that take the machines to the limit,I had to buy a new video board and many other items with a total of more on less 500 dollars...and with all that heat the PC would just overheat in less than 3 hours on!So that's when I decided just to get something simpler,which didn't have to be updated every single month if you wanted to play a game...So then I bought myself a PS3.And I'm pretty happy with it...much happier than having some money leach sucking PC...So I think playstations are way better...
most pc games are far cheaper than ps3 games , i know i could go out and buy a good game made in febuary 09 for less than £12 compared to a ps3 game which would be £35+ pcs arent money leeching , i dont know what pc you bought i have a pretty old pc,to play brand new games all id need to do is buy a new graphics card for £74. and even then i wouldnt have to replace it for a while because the graphics card im getting overshoots the recomended specs for the games that i want.

i do admit that consoles tend to have better shooter games ( again not a fan of the keyboard and mouse shooters) but for just general gaming i find most pc games far more enjoyable
PC rules, get an Xbox 360 wireless controller and you´re set to play wath you want... but there´s a lot of good games only released on consoles. Both are fine but you can do more stuff on a PC not only gaming
Playing with a controller is better Playing with the keyboard just sucks If you had a Big a.ss computer you're bu.tt will hurt Playing while sitting on the bed is much better
