Hey, just thought this up. I know there are other "Battle of" threads, but those are mostly popular media threads. So I thought of this. Vote and suggest games for the next Battle!

So with that... I will start off the first battle, which will be:
Halo 3 vs. Call of Duty 4

Ah, hell, Halo 3. At that point, Bungie wasn't totally ridiculous, so they still put in an effort. And can I suggest Fallout 3 VS GTA IV? They're both fee roam, with plenty of options and desicions, but they have totally differing themes.

What's that? Sorry I don't play it much mostly at my friend's house :P
If you keep dying in CoD4 it's very simple, get better. Keep playing and you'll eventually get better if you have patience. So my vote is for Call of Duty 4 even though I know it probably' won't win.
Anyway, for the next battle after Fallout 3 and GTA IV, can I suggest No More Heroes and Okami? I find them both to be similar in the semi-free roaming; and they both wreak of Japanese influence, Okami bearing ancient influence and NMH more modern. So they aren't incredibly similar but both blend comedy and drama beautifully, so that's my suggestion.

I can guarantee you 75% of the people haven't played both of those games (I have). Since NMH is Wii exclusive, and Okami is only for PS2/Wii.
Oh jeez, this is going to be one hell of a choice. I really like both, but I think in the end I choose Halo 3 because I am better at it and it includes vehicles and all sorts of things that make it really cool. If I could vote for both, that would be my vote.

What difficulty did you play Halo 3 on, man? It's not exactly just running up to the biggest dude and meleein him to death on anything above easy. And I have actually played both on singleplayer (beat em) and on multiplayer and I say CoD4. I absolutely love Halo 3, and I pride myself on my abilities on it... but CoD4 is better in almost every sense. There can be more in multiplayer, they have upgrades such as martrydom (go Marty!!!!! :P ), the story in much more in-depth, the music isn't the same 2 songs over and over again, and the controls are surpringly quick to pick up. Sure, in Halo 3 you can learn them in 2 minutes. I learned Cod4's as soon as I started the game. But still, I've played CoD4 on the Xbox 360 (singleplayer only though except for splitscreen) and the PC (everything... even a clan). For Halo 3, I only played it on the Xbox 360 and it was only like 3 days of online in it. I had internet problems and I couldn't get on. But for what I've played in a half-year of CoD4 and the 3 days of Halo 3, CoD4 was better. Sorry I made this so long.
