Meh. I want to be buried, but I'd request that my coffin be made of something nothing can get through. It'd be a small comfort to know that maggots won't be eating me. Me as a pile of ashes would just be too sad.
I think mausoleumification would do me fine. Have my own mausoleum, all to myself. Of course it would be more for the remembrance thing than actually inflating my ego. My ego won't be around when I die. It'll just radiate out.
Cremated. To hell with getting munched on by bugs, and six feet under is a long way down. To close to Hell for me. If I get cremated, my ashes can go anywhere I want. How cool is that?

Technically, a burial would be just as risky as cremation if it was completely up the family, so you're really not safe either way. Just to reassure you.
Cremation. Not only is a funeral with coffins/graveyard a pretty ridiculous waste of money, but its the right choice environmentally too. I also prefer the idea of being ashes at a favorite location to rotting in a box in some place that I've never been too. Just more comforting, even if it won't really matter to me when the time for this to be decided comes.

I'd prefer to be already have been spilled somewhere that I chose, but if not I can live with that. Its better than being eaten by insects and worms, not to mention that if it did ever flood my water-logged corpse wouldn't be too happy.
