Ok, Mr. Retired Spamlawrd, I'll help you out. But if you copy me without giving credit, I will eat you alive. Maybe not me, but I've heard certain female mazzelhs have a taste for plagiarizer. *cough elbow* Forgive me for any mistakes, I'm not a smoker and I don't plan to, so I don't have much experience. Reasons Why People Would Start Smoking __________________________________________
1. Peer pressure. Obviously, if one's friends start smoking, saying it's good, and tell one to smoke as well, then one would want to smoke as well, because it's what everyone else is doing, and they'll think that person is dumb if they don't. 2. Curiosity. Come on. Like you've never wondered what it's like, smoking. So people are curious, and just want to try one, and then they get addicted and can't stop. 3. Rebellion. We all go through a rebellious stage in our teenage years, wanting to piss off our parents any way possible, doing whatever they tell you not to. And what have they always, always told you not to do? Smoke! So there's your solution; you smoke. 4. Stress/Exhaustion. I've been told cigarettes are soothing, and for someone stressed, that would be a godsend. Cigarettes might help you cope. If you're having a tough day, you sit in the tub and have a smoke! 5. Addicting. Obviously, cigarettes are very addicting. So once you've had your first, it'd be very difficult to quit. So someone might be doing one of the above reasons, thinking to smoke just once, and then they get hooked.
Reasons Why People Would Not Smoke ____________________________________________
1. Unhealthy. We all know smoking's terrible for you. It causes all sorts of problems later on, like lung cancer. It can and will kill you when you get older. 2. Expensive. Cigarette costs are high. Once you're addicted, you pretty much can't stop, and the longer you smoke, the more cigarettes you need. Why spend all that money on something bad? 3. Unfair. I mean, it's unfair for non-smokers who are around smokers that the second-hand smoke(which is as, if not more, damaging than smoking the cigarette yourself)will make them just as unhealthy as the smoker. Wouldn't you be pissed off if someone was chopping years off your life by smoking around you? 4. Pointless. I mean, what exactly does a cigarette do? Almost nothing. It makes you feel good for a few seconds, and then that's it, and you have to light up another one. I mean...that's pointless. 5. Dangerous. Cigarettes are a fire hazard. I mean, you light one, you smoke, you toss, you start a fire. And I've seen a lot of that. I live in a very dry area, and fires are common occurrences.
3 Laws In Correlation To Cigarettes ___________________________________________
Sorry mate. I might do this later, but for now, I'm done helping you. When you're in high school, you'll learn to write reports like this too. 0.o
Reasons Why People Would Start Smoking 1) You don't think when you are young that smoking is dangerous and very addictive. You think that you can easily stop smoking. 2) Pressure when you see one of your friends smoking, you may think that if you don't smoke too you will not be accepted. 3) Mimic when you are born in an environment where your parents and/or siblings smoke, you may start smoking just to act like them. 4) Some children see smoking as an act of rebellion against the parents and/or people of authority. 5) Because you think that when you start smoking you may get the chance to know new people thanks to smoke. You can ask somebody to light your cigarette, this can be an opportunity to talk with him.
3 Laws In Correlation To Cigarettes 1)Smoking is restricted to designated areas in enclosed indoor areas open to, or used by, the general public including, but not limited to: restaurants, retail stores, health care institutions or any other place where health care services are provided to the public, educational facilities, libraries, courtrooms, state, county or municipal buildings, restrooms, grocery stores, museums, theaters, auditoriums, arenas and recreational facilities. Smoking is prohibited entirely in passenger elevators, on public means of transportation, and on school buses. Nothing in this act shall prevent any city or county from regulating smoking within its boundaries, so long as such regulation is at least as stringent as that imposed by this act. KAN. STAT. ANN. §§ 21-4009 to 21-4013 (1987). The reason why this law exists is quite simple is to protect the non-smokers. When you are a passive smoker your health is endangered too.
2)Smoking is restricted to designated areas in all other educational facilities. Smoking is prohibited on school buses. KAN. STAT. ANN. §§ 21-4009 & 21-4010 (1987). The reason why this law exists is not only to protect children from passive smoke, but to also don't make them become smokers.
3)It is unlawful for any person who is a retail dealer to fail to post and maintain in a conspicuous place in the dealer's establishment the following notice: âBY LAW, CIGARETTES AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS MAY BE SOLD ONLY TO PERSONS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER." Violation is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, imprisonment for not more than one year or both.
I'd like to add one as to why people wouldn't smoke
Peer pressure: Yeah, yeah, I know you guys all think that peer pressure only makes people do bad things. But most people in school don't smoke (or at least they don't in mine) and if you did smoke a lot of people would view you as an idiot.
no wonder you cant write a report on your own.. your grammar is terrible and PLEASE do not say and what not.. beyond annoying.
There's nothing I hate more than a hypocrite. You didn't capitalize, you didn't use apostrophes, and and you didn't use comments. I'm not a Grammar Nazi, and I normally wouldn't jump on anyone for their grammar, but you're being hypocritical.
