I think every game should have a choice to turn off the sound. Cause its rly annoying to be listening to itunes and then the sound of the game interrupts. So you have to listen to the game sounds and turn of ur music, or turn off sounds altogether. Sor of annoying

Most games here have a volume button it is the matter of searching for it.

I would say about 90-95% of games I have seen have some kind of mute button as Jungles said it is a case of finding it sometimes. But I agree with you kyocat I often listen to music whenonline and it is so annoying when there is no way to turn off the sound. But AG doesn't have that much control over what goes into the games it is up to the developers.... I suppose AG could just reject any game without a mute feature but that is abit over the top to be honest. I think it is just best to put up with it.... or turn up your music REALLY loud lol

I remember a game developer saying something about right clicking, and from there being able to turn the sound off...not sure though.

However, it would be nice. But this is not up to Ag, rather the game developers.

Well, not sure about you, but if you go to the volume mixer setting on my computer, you can lower the volume coming off of Firefox, or IE or other things. So, if you want to even watch videos on youtube and play games without exiting either, play the games on one browser and the other on a different one and then turn the volume off for whichever one you don't want to be hearing.

Anyways, on my computer it shows that speaker thing, you click it and it brings up a full volume changer. At the bottom it should say "mixer" Click that and it's pretty simple from there.

It helps having merits, but it's not necessary, there are many ways to show that you are mature.

I used to have a thing like that but I think they have changed it somewhat... I can make the EQ Rock or Classic but not change the volume lol (hates Vista and all the crap I have on this computer lol)

Ok well i think the bottom line is ppl that make the games should be considerate and just put a mute button. Is it that hard to put one in? If you can make a game worth playing then i dont think a mute botton is too hard for you

Just mute the computer and use your iPod. It isn't that hard to figure out.

Why would you want to waste the battery of your iPod/mp3 player, when the computer is already on? And maybe people want to listen to it through their speakers? :P

In that case, just go down to the Apple store and buy an iPod speaker. Again, not that hard to figure out. :P

Okay... well not everyone has money to buy something everytime there is a problem... lol

And that doesn't have anything to do with the battery problem and the mp3 player problem.

It isn't wasting battery power if you're using it. In fact, I have a strange feeling that iPods/MP3's were created for listening to music at any time. I don't know where I got that idea...
