Well, if you look at Bungie's most recent moves, it's dead obvious they want more and more money. Halo Wars was released with absolutely no connections to the rest of Halo, for money. ODST went from a 20 dollar DLC to a full retail 60$, for money. The movie was cancelled, probably to due the fact it was costing to much for props. So, that was done for money. It's a bad time to be a fanboy, trust me. I got out of it right when Wars was released, 'cause I saw it coming. Bungie will probably never release a game worth it's salt again.

Microsoft and Bunjie wanted 10% of the movie profit cuts, so they movie got pushed back to 2012. Read that off of a fan site somewhere. I think Bunjie did the trailer in Live Action 'cause (a) the game play sucks and/or (b) to get more people to buy it. Still, the trailer rocks, but its cheaper to do 2 minutes Live Action, then 120 minuttes Live Action. And the trailer doesnt really explain who dies, or how they died. Unless it was that guy in the mud, but the Brute got killed. Shrapnel maby?

Halo Reach? I'm pessimistic about it, but I secretly have my fingers crossed so tight I'm cutting off circulation. They're gonna need to pull one real fancy rabbit outta their hat to get me interested again.

Of course they did it for money. How many free games do you know of? And they increased the cost of ODST becuase they added more stuff, such as a 2nd disk with all the maps plus a whole lot more. It was $20 when it was just a small expansion. Now it's an entire game. And they made Halo Wars becuase on the Bungie.net forums, there were approximately 2000 forums for something new. And if they only did this stuff for money, they would have made it to where you would have to pay to play a game demo, and they would make 'em too....

You simply don't understand me. I understand all game developers make their games for money, but they make sure the customer gets their worth. It's like, have you ever watched the Pirates movies? Numbers 1 and 2 were exciting, interesting, and worth watching. Yeah, they were made for money, but you got your money's worth. Now, in the third one, no one knew what was happening. It was all just thrown together, because they knew, whatever they tossed out, they'd get the cash. It's what's called in the business as a cash grab. They made it for money, and you felt pretty ripped off by it. All of Bungie's new gamesare, in my opinion, cash grabs.

And I agree with you, even for Halo Wars. But I'm keeping my hopes up for this one. They haven't done anything to make me doubt that this will be a good game, unlike the makers of SoulCalibur. Even Halo Wars wasn't really made my them, only furnished from them. And for those of us out there that really have nothing to do at their house, even cash grabs are appealing. Besides, I've never heard any real insults about it yet, unlike most. People are already playing ODST and they're quite contempt with it, and most of them don't work at Bungie so I'm keepin my fingers crossed and if this game sucks then yeah. It sucks. And crap..... I lost my train of thought in the middle of this so I forgot where I was goin.... I'll say it later when I remember it...

Casual ownage, much?

But, in all honesty, ODST is also very random. I mean, the idea is such a novelty, that even if it turns out to be insanely good, it's still such a random and strange addition addition to the series that it would've been better off as a DLC anyways. Kinda like how the Resident Evil series was all pretty aligned, and then Gun Survivor just sorta came outta nowhere with pretentous randomness.
