oh dude. slipknot is pretty good. all the songs from Vol.3 (Subliminal Verses) were amazing. i can listen to the whole cd through with out stopping or skipping. their new stuff isn't so good in my opinion.

Anyways, I love Slipknot, it's my favorite band and I'm kinda sad about the bassist, he was really good. I'm not as most other die hard fans.. as I can listen to anything else, such as rap, alt rock, and more :P
i cant stand slipknot. all there songs are just a bunch of emo and wanna be hardcore songs. thats what they are. there songs trying to be badass that arent. thinking there all cool wearing masks and shit. there not cool.....
now not to say i dont like corey taylor. the guy is an amazing singer. i also have respect for joey as a drummer. that guy has some WICKED chops.
please there not even the same kind of music. atleasts the musicians are somewhat talented (aside from drummers of course).
and avenged sevenfold actually is good at writing songs. have you ever heard the song snuff by slipknot..... if you have then you would COMPLETLEY agree with the statement you quoted me with.
avenged sevenfold doesnt try at all to make there music which is why they are better, while slipknot tries TO hard to make music. they are utter garbage and i think corey taylor could have made that band so much better.

you have got to be kidding me........ that entire album is depressing though. except phycosocial which is kinda cool. but overall i can only listen to 2-3 songs by them
