Hey guys, any lifeguards here? I'm thinking of becoming one.I just finished up my swimming levels (red cross), and now apparently I have to take the Bronze Cross/Medallion. I'm 14... any advice?The farthest I've ever swam is about 700 metres... how far do you think I'll have to be able to swim?Any people who know lifeguards, or who are lifeguards, please respond! I might...I finished all the required courses, and I heard they pay well
I hate swimming, I don't know why, I just hate it, although lifeguards most of the time don't have to do anything and just sit in the chair. That's pretty swell.
Lifeguard at the beach or local pool?
Pool, there are lots around where I live. There are no beach lifeguards around here really lol... lots of beach but no lifeguards.
