Macedoninan Ship sank yesterday in the Ohrid Lake. The reason of the sinking was that one of the rudder ropes broke, making the ship sink fast.

The ship is registered for 49 Passengers, althrough it was carrying 73.

All those Passengers were Bulgarians who wanted to travel from the South Coast to Saint Naum Monastery.

This accident happend Saturday at 11:45 GMT

This is the problem with boats, if it sinks in the middle of a large body of water, and no one else is near, you die.

I thought there are usually backup ropes.

And yes, It is sad =^(

usually why ships are stacked with lifejackets, flotation devices, and blow up boats or dingys.

That's why it says there are 22 dead, not 73. Even Macedonia thinks ahead sometimes. xD
