I personally don't like them. I mean, I get that they had some skill, and they had a major impact on music, and that their music is varied a lot, but I think they're overrated, and in a nutshell, they're just not my cup of tea. I prefer bands like Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, Drowning Pool, System of a Down, Evanescence, Rise Against, etc.

The Beatles had no comparisonto anyone. They started with "cutsy" pop and then expanded. Perfectly pitched they conquored the music industry with innovative sounds that opened doors for many unknowns who would never have been heard of if it was not for the Beatles.

i dont see how somebody could listen to the beatles and come to the conclusion they were the greatest band of all time, they were succesful and influential but to be quite honest thier songs werent brilliant it would require relativly little technical skill to play any of thier songs.

How many Beatles albums have you listened to? I acknowledge they were not the most technically proficient or complicated band but their greatness is not expressed by these things at all. Just listen to the album "Revolver" or "The White Album". In the context of music at the time, The Beatles were by far the greatest band around. The main reason why people tout The Beatles as the greatest band ever is the astounding effect they had on the progression of music. If we are going to judge bands on technical proficiency and composition then Led Zeppelin takes the cake. But, on the merits of innovation and influence The Beatles truly are the greatest band of all time.

the beatles suck balls

it's quite clear that you are posting just for the sake of posting and getting armor points. your comments have little to nothing to do with the topic on had. This is the closest i've seen you come to relevance in 5 or 6 posts i've seen of yours.. hopefully you get locked out or deleted for utter uselessness.

The Beatles aren't my favorite band. I think they were a little bit over-rated due to incredible timing and incredible management. I don't think they're songs suck or anything like that. I do really love some of they're songs (my personal favorite being In My Life).

The truth is that they wouldn't have had so many number 1 songs and so many billboard records / highlights had they not re-released many of their songs that failed to do anything previously. Whoever it was that decided to rerelease these songs during the absolute pinnacle of Beatlemania ought to be praised for management genious.

Another thing that all of you youngsters might not understand is that The Beatles recorded every song that they made on a 4-track recorder. I don't know how many of you have experience in recording but the idea of making the songs that they did on "Rubber Soul", or "Sgt. Peppers" with a 4 track recorder is mind boggling.

I love the Beatles, they are my favorite band ever.

All of their songs sound alike to me

Go listen to Please Please Me, The White Album and then the Magical Mystery Tour. They sound very different
