I had noticed a few people here have some of the newer comic book movies as their favorite movies, and it made me wonder if anyone here was a fan of comics as well; so I decided to make a thread about them. Is anyone else here a fan of the printed pages, if you are share with us. Who is your favorite character, and what do you like so much about them? Are a fan of Marvel or DC, or do you prefer the more independent publishers? Whats your take on the more recent comic book movies? Have you read The Watchmen? (These are just random example questions of course, you can reply with whatever strikes your fancy)

I've read some Alan Moore (Watchmen and V For Vendetta), but my favorite is Deadpool. I just read the entire Cable & Deadpool series, and it was AWESOME! I'm waiting for the new Deadpool comics to come out in collections, then I'll pick them up.
