i been reading the last number of pc gamer (oct 09 number 192) and in page 18 they say we can expect on 2010 the release of cod7 that probably be based on vietnam conflict.. what do you think guys?

Ehh, it's just a typo. It's amazing how fast the fanboys jump on something that's obviously just a mess up. But, if CoD 7 does come out in 2010, then that's terrible, because it will obviously suck more than any other sucky CoD game, with only like 4 months given to produce.
Lets worry about CoD 6 then CoD 7 because CoD 6 isn't even out.

Lol that would only give them a really short time to make it. Also i really hope its not Vietnam, or if it is the gameplay is completely different from every other Vietnam game ive ever playyed.
cod 4 was fresh with the "modern" part. then when cod 5 (world at war) went back to old school, I was reluctant to play it because it didnt change anything. Zombies was interesting but got old fast. i think cod 7 should be modern. I want to see more M16's, and AK47's!

you raise a very good point , it would be so similar that there really wouldnt be any point in playing.
so i think cod7 will be made by (Treyarch) giving it ova a year 2 be made and with cod's game engine they have i think they could do that because they usually do
Come on, they should make one during the Cold War for a challenge, I haven't heard much about it and i don't think there are any significant battles. I also think no game has even been based on the Cold War, as far as shooters.
CoD1 was made by Infinity Ward. I have it. It is, in my opinion, the second-best one, next to MW. And MW2 is not 6. Otherwise it would have been called Call of Duty 6, not Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. And yeah. It was just a typo. Don't worry.
