What is a Mac?

And how is it any different from a PC?

I'm pretty sure it is. And I know it's hard to explain. That's why I didn't ask it in a chatroom. And I meant "specifically what is a Mac?" I know the arguement. Andybody with a tv with 2 channels has seen the commericals.

I just now heard about a Mac ban so they must have internet too

Generally, though, Macs are faster and have better gameplay.

Heh that pretty much answers you're question but in a short version. A different computer/technology company mostly made for work. Nothing very different from hp or windows/dell

a mac is a computer company like P.C. They are faster then windows, don't get near as many viruses, and can use microsoft programs faster than using them on a P.C. The only problem with them is there are games you can't play on them.

Thanks, green. That's probably the most helpful thing somebody's told me on this site thusfar. And I guess I have seen a sort of Mac before... heck, my parents have 'em. Iphones. I messed around with 'em. They're alright. Not sure I'd sell my pc for a mac though....

I own a mac and a pc and i like the pc better! I can download stuff like games off the internet with a pc, but not with my mac =(

well depending on wether or not your going into high performance gaming you may want either a pc or a mac. The average pc is most likly worse than a mac. But if you were to go for a alienware or any other type of gaming pc then you surpress mac. And actually macs were origanly made for buisnesses and a pc (personal computer) well that says it all.

Mac is a computer that is better than a PC in many ways. I also want a Mac because they look cool, they are fast, they run PC programs, they are light and don't need a PC box, they also have sleek designs, and they are just awesome. Too bad they're expensive...
