i haven't played gears of war, but halo is better because it has a wider variety of weapon and vehicle types and is more active and challenging than call of Duty (aka Cock of Doody). but i can't say anything about gears of war because i haven't played it. plus you can make videos with halo.

have you even played cod it has far more weapons, halos weapons are entire classes on cod4.eg 4 snipers only 2 on halo 4 pistols again 2 on halo one assault rifle roughly 4or 5 on cod. there pretty hard to compare , cod is about as realistic a game can get withought becoming boring,halo is fun and arcade-like and its relaxing to sometimes just sit and build stuff in forge. and gears of war is a 3rd person shooter and has a better cover system aswell as a few weapons which arent ever seen in either halo or cod ( mortar ,lancer with chainsaw)
jeez. i dont care. halo is more intense, plus there are more abilities, like armor choosing, holding and moving with turrets, dual wield weapons, and hijacking vehicles. plus there are alien weapons which C_O_C_K of Doody doesn't have. and you can play as an alien in multiplayer. and there's splitscreen which C_O_C_K of Doody doesn't have. beat that muffinman.
