As you may or may not know, when you're born your head is like a jigsaw puzzle with many spaces and your brain is vunerable. This is where the infamous 'soft spot' or 'dropped on your head when you were born' phrase came from. Over your development your puzzle pieces begin to fuse together and I'm unsure at the moment whether or not they completely fuse or remain as large fragments when you're an adult.

Anyway, I've found a lil fissure near my visual cortext and am thinking it's oneo the pieces that hasn't completely molded.

cool huh?

Simple answer: they fuse but since I haven't done my paediatrics rotation yet I can't remember at which point they finish doing so. I imagine either mid or postpubertally.

Yeah dude, I have a small fissure also right above my right eye, it goes to almost my temple, it's really cool, the chicks dig me for it.
