The way Joe said it seemed as if he was emotionally distressed for whatever reason. I dunno if Obama was telling the truth or twisting the facts or whatever, but if he was, and I wouldn't be surprised if so, then the man had every right to call him out.
There's no denying that it was a bit tactless, but I think if we could take a brief break from politcs and look at him as a person whose voice wasn't being heard because, in his eyes, the president was stretching the truth, maybe then we can understand. If anything, he should've said, "You are wrong." Then he could quote the actual bill in a later statement. But obviously he was just stressed out by the fact that Obama was saying things that, in his eyes, contradicted what he read in the bill.
What are peoples thoughts on Mr Wilson actin' a fool today! As a Democrat who just can't understand most republicans, I love it every time a republican messes it up!
So because you can't understand Republicans you love it when they mess up? I would first seek to better understand the viewpoint, even if not agreeing with it, before taking pleasure in the mistake of a random politician that, before this incident, very few of us even knew. I don't *love it* when Obama messes up, even though I disagree with nearly every policy he has. I know there's also a person behind the politician, a person who's trying, at least. Reflect upon all I have said. Reflect, and wait. For soon, this country will be reborn, America. And the Enclave shall be its salvation. Fallout 3. I just can't help myself.
I couldn't care less about what happened, it's just one little mishap, but I think that politicians need to be more careful in what they say and do. They're representing their entire political party, and if they go around yelling random things, try to scare people, etc, then they're going to give their party a bad image.
Anyways, I thought it was really rude of the man to disrespect anyone(especially the president) like that. He might not agree with the man, but he should be able to control his outbursts.
Oh, and I thought AG allowed occasional spam for a joke every now and then. Hmm, I guess not. (coughLigecough)
