They were pirates. They robbed most of our riches, and we decided to lay war on them. We marched on Arbolaeum, they're capital. We fought ten years trying to breach the city, but we couldn't. We had cannon, trebuchets and all siege weapons that were appropiate. Our cannon was not strong enough to break their steel tower. So, we brought the battering ram. By the time we broke in, some 345,000 soldiers had been killed. We lost. Then, they harrased our empire, wasting all in their way. They robbed all our technological advances.
They brought the golden tower of Lagoos down. We surrendered- and never again fought them.
Their mine had some 60 grand spiders, and I don't think they didn't send reinforcements.
