Beast RTS? Or failure in disguise? Oh yea, if you have the game and the Historic battle DLC, or are going to get it, please tell me. I want to get some achieveables that can only be acquired with two people, and not many people have the historic battle DLC.
I personally say that Halo Wars is a BEAST GAME! the 1st DLC kinda sucked, but the Historic battles one was epic with the new achievements and maps. Ensemble needs to make more maps, and maybe a couple new leaders, like Master chief and Proto-Gravemind.
its ok as far as being an rts game... but thats only because its on a console. it would be bad if it was... 1. a halo game...(WOOPS!) 2. a halo rts...(WOOPS!!) 3. or if it didnt have master chief in it...(WOOPS! AGAIN!)
So i guess if it was anyother rts no one would have cared to buy it. but its a halo rts that... well... just isnt vary "HALO" like.
i think its pretty good for an rts,best rts on a console (still gets beatend by a few pc rts games) i found it pretty good and challenging,online play is fast paced and fun since the resource system is so simple, harrasment isnt much of a problem anymore.
and not many people have the historic battle DLC.
thats because all the dlc for it was a rip-off 800 points for a few game modes and 800 more for a few maps, id rather save somthing like 1600 for the gears 2 on all fronts map pack ( at least u get like 3 different map packs 4 if u havent got the flashback)
