It sounds highly infectious but no doubt it will probably kill the actual rats before it actually reaches us. I mean we don't exactly live in the filth that people in the middle ages did. Rats prefer places where we aren't around. Plus it's very likely that the rats day from this disease, preventing it from spreading hopefully.


The new virus (H1N1, Swine Flu) will actually only infect 600,000 US Citizens, and kill about 90,000, so you facts are completely wrong.

It's going to freaking kill nearly 1 in 6 people? I somehow seriously doubt that. A few thousand have caught it in england and the only reason they might have died was because of asthma/diabetes type 2.

A single case proves nothing. There are too many factors to determine a percentage of death from 5 people. When taking a survey, would you find it more reliable to survey 5 people or 100?
