I posted a topic about this a while ago, but I can't find it. Sometimes, whenever I am playing a game that requires the keyboard for play, the computer thinks I am still holding down the key even though I'm not. It doesn't happen to a few games, but it usually happens to most. This appears to happen either randomly or because I held the key down too long.
Last time I posted this someone suggested buying a new keyboard; the reason I dont want to do that is because it ONLY happens in certain games. Also, my mouse just started doing it too, but it isn't as noticable. Help?
Mountain Dew works better, but if you aren't able to acquire such tasty goodness, then water works fine. Oh, and banging it against the wall might help too.
@ fst6: I dont think this is the solution, it works fine other than acting up on games. And it doesn't work for most games. It only works correctly for a few games.
@ sarcastic comments: I like the buying a whole new computer idea, its so genius; the makers of the computers totally get the short end of the deal.
If you dont actually know how to help me in my small dillema (or is it dilema? cant spell today ) then go have fun somewhere else.
@ Graham: I have gotten junk out of my keyboard a lot of times and still it doesn't seem to fix it. Control Panel says its fine (I checked the drvers and properties and stuff) I guess maybe it is flash player. At least I hope it is just that and not something else. Ill try that and see what happens
Yeah all of them. And there aren't just a few keys that do it; its all of them, although I haven't seen spacebar, enter, tab, shift, or control being stuck. I might just get a new one
