The computer can lag if you have a really slow comptur but the PS3 never lags. The computer has unlimited games but thats if you have internet.Ps3 you have to buy the games. The Ps3 has a controller and the computer doesent unless your counting the keyboard.I really dont know they both have there ups and there downs.

good point shark, i guess it depends on your resources, lots of money get good computer and internet + games, less money i guess ps3 would be a good option

Computer afcourse!! Sharkbate don't think that PS3 don't lag , every system when it gets it time it start to lag or it's from the game!! And nobody will buy a slow computer if want to play a high performance game!!

ps3 has some of the best content as far as graphics go, and shark does have a good point... my ps3 has never lagged, my internet may sometimes get slowed down if multiple people use it, but sometime my computer slows during offline play, ps3 has never had an issue

computer has better internet... i can watch videos on websites other then youtube(ps3's can only view video in flash7 or earlier format, and you cannot update your flash player due to the fact that you need a different OS, which cannot be installed...) and there are no true MMO's on the ps3, not that they couldnt handle it, but the OS on the ps3's really limits its capabilities, and isnt compatible with most softwares available...

That's so stupid. I don't want a Ps3 for the same reason I want a computer. At least, when making threads like this, try to pitch two opponents of the same category.

Take a while to think people: while a computer can run any game, it's extremely onerous. My friend bought a remarkable Laptop that cost him over 2000$, and games still don't run as smoothly as it would on a comp; a console is made to play games, so you have no lagg, no needs to lower graphics, etc...

Look, this is so dumb, it can't even be compared.

Well unless your used to platform, the Computer will obviously be harder. But i think The PC is easier.

PC is the best because if you buy a really expensive one you have better graphics then a ps3 and it runs faster

*Looks at timestamps on earlier posts.* *Wonders why people are posting in this thread about the thread being not comparable.* Well, ya see here, those people are most likely not going to respond since it was two-three years ago.

If you're talking about gaming. A few reasons why I prefer console gaming: I prefer console gaming over computer gaming: The controller is more comfortable for me, Iâm used to holding the controller with both hands and playing games that way. Iâve been doing it for years now. I like to be comfortable while playing games, so that means that I like to sit on my bed, in a chair, or even a couch when playing. While with computer gaming I have to sit in my chair and I have this small screen to look at. My television screen is much larger and lets me view things better. It wonât be fun playing games on a 15.6" laptop screen, when I have a 40" television in my room. And I already have many games on my console, all the accessories and such. Iâm not saying that computer gaming is bad, itâs just not what I like. I understand the ups of computer gaming, and how it could be good. Also, I don't want to have to purchase a new computer, or even go out and get new computer parts and computer gaming accessories so that I can play on the computer when I already have everything that I need to enjoy console gaming.
But I prefer console gaming over computer gaming since itâs better for me.

I wonder why notepad did that to me. It's always been fine for me to type things out in notepad then copy/paste them onto here.

Hopefully that fixed the weird symbols and it's easier to read now.
