ZZZ... Oh hi. This is Moat. And since School RPGs of one kind or another have been circulating the Forum Games for a while now, I figured I'd go ahead and make my own. But it isn't only about school. After-school activities are just as important! Here's the deal: -You create a character -You try to meet your respective goal(which is chosen by your Class) -But there's a catch! You have to remain somewhat balanced, or you can get kicked off the sports team, sent constantly to Study Hall, suspended, you get the drift. And that's some bad mojo for your attributes! Character Sheet And Explanations.
Name: Anything you want Age: Assigned by me, from your Grade. Grade: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior. You choose. Doesn't really do anything. Class: Look below, at Class, for descriptions. Attributes: Your attributes determine your basic skills. You have 15 points to distribute among them as you wish. Strength: How strong you are; determines your skill at Sports, at things such as skateboarding, and your skill at Fights! It also might determine what jobs you can do. Strength can be boosted by training, by simply doing something determined by strength, or other things up to my discretion as the OP. Intelligence: How smart you are; determines your Grades, your Salary(for After-School Jobs), and in some cases, what jobs you can do. Intelligence can be boosted by paying attention in school, doing anything determined by Intelligence, studying, or other things up to my discretion. Popularity: Your popularity is how popular you are! Determines how Eligible you are(for dates, friends, whatnot), how Famous you are(within the school), and basically how nice everyone is to you, inviting you to parties, not bullying you, and whatnot. Got that? Popularity can be increased by making friends, being friendly, and other things up to my discretion. Job: N/A. You can get after school jobs, or school-helping jobs. They can give you money, raise your attributes, and may even elicit a special reward! Money: $0 Items: None Friend(s): None Girlfriend(s)/Boyfriend(s): None Rival(s): None Grades: N/A. Grades are well, your grades. How well you're doing in school. If your Grades drop too far, you'll be kicked out of Sports, and vice versa. Sports: N/A. How well you're doing health and sports-wise. If your Sports drop too far, you'll be kicked out of any Grade teams and be forced to stay in study hall, and vice versa.
Note that Attributes will slowly be lowered if you don't practice them at all for long enough. I'll give you a warning if you start to get rusty on an Attribute, and then after that, it starts to get lowered. Classes Classes are the most important factor in the game. Here they are. Jock: A Jock's main focus is Strength, and sports. They get +1 to their starting Strength. Their main goal for the game is to win the Championships. Whiz Kid: A Whiz Kid's main focus is Intelligence. They get +1 to their Intelligence. Their main goal is to get the Valedictorian spot by the end of the school year. Queen/King(depending upon your gender): A Queen/King's main focus is Popularity. They get +1 Popularity at the start, and their main goal is to be the Prom Queen/King.
Alright, any questions you have will be answered if you want. I want at the very least 5 players. If you do not respond for one day, I will leave a warning on your profile. If you don't respond for a further day, then you will be booted out of the game. If you are going on a vacation or something, please try to let me know in advance, as your absence might harm gameplay. Thanks, -Moat
I'm not quite sure what you're talking about with the "friend" bit, but there is plenty of room for new players, if that's what you're asking. As long as they fill out their character sheet correctly.
Sorry man,I know there are more hs "classes", but I need a goal for each. And with too many goals and classes it gets too complicated. And yes, we do have Ice Hockey here at Moat High You are a returning student at Moat High. It's time for First Period. What do you do?
A) Stay in the hallways for a while longer B) Ditch school C) Go to class D) Make your own option
You finally go to class. The teacher glares at you when you enter, late, but you take your seat, and soon she continues her lesson. The guy next to you starts prodding you. What do you do?
A) Poke him back B) Ask what he wants C) Ignore him and pay attention to the teacher D) Make your own option
Could I potentially have a schedule? I'm the real RP type :P
It depends solely on that :P
If it's anything but history then C) Go to class. If it's history then D) Ditch class and go hang out in the restroom playing games on my phone and texting (talking is to risky *shifty eyes*).
