WW2 has been used enough in movies and games. World at war was a great game don't get me wrong but ww2 has been getting old and boring if you ask me. Vietnam has not been used in a game for some time and a new one in Call Of Duty would be a very great game if you ask me. Vietnam being my favorite war (by interests and history because it was a horrible war) I would very much enjoy a Vietnam COD. Anyone else wishing the same?
It would be fun to be a viet-minh but I probably wouldn't bother buying it if you were only American. I'd love to set some booby traps though I fear it would be difficult to incorporate. The missions would be interesting too see what they put in and how close to real life they make it. An American level could be set in My Lai > Then again enough atrocities happened in Stalingrad and that still got in WaW.
I find Americans ok (I'm English) and on my one you would play Brits and italins and all the others who are taking part in that war so you would'nt just be playing Americans. It would be a tribute to all thos men who have died fighting (Just like the WW2 Cod games :P)

In CoD a little but only becasue it is sometimes abit ethnocentric towards the U.S. I know there were ussian levels in WaW but it wasn't enough for me... I agree with Thomas in another WWII game (or even WWI) I would like to see more nationalities involbed as long as they still managed to keep a reasonably coherent campaign going.

The Italians deployed to Afghanistan months ago. It's just that recently six were killed in a roadside bomb.
I think Vietnam has the potential to be a great theatre for COD, but I'm content with Modern Warfare angle they're using. COD4 was one of the best FPS games of all time.
