so the fact that we all have a score and rank because of how much we post or rate is bad, must people are just competing now to get a higher and higher score thinking how cool it would be to be #1, people going to random games and rating random and saying things like good game or not bad or not my type of game, not even playing a game, labeling people knights or kings, and people only want to get a higher score, this is not a game site, i am disappoint
But when twisted into "OMG I haz power nao from th APs!" it is very baaad.
Note that noobs with 100 AP are the most likely suspect in those cases. Most of my friends (high AP people) rarely care for it beyond a secondary thing, and a lot of them are princes and dukes.
AP is good for friendly competition, so long as it stays that way. When AP comes into that realm it goes from an AP contest to an activity contest, as long as the participants are not spamming.
I've never thought of AP as bad thing, more or less as an active thing. The more ap you have the more active you are which is a good thing. I can see how it can be a bad thing when people try to get as much ap as they can because they just want to be in the top 100 or something because when they get there they just quit and leave a ghost account.

I would not say that it is a bad idea, its just being abused by people who only care about what rank they are and not really interested in making a genuine contribution to the site. *Hopes people who rate and comment on games without actually playing them BURN in AG hell*
ranks and APs are marketing ploys...to keep us coming back. Makes us want to get some more, to spam and troll. It is a community where there are rules, interaction amongst one another and wanting to be better than everybody else..but of the others just hang around wanting the company and just looking around.
