Its completely different then the Halo 3, as in ODST you can't be a Spartan. I'm getting it for my b day <a few days> if you haven't bought it by then, I'll tell you if its any good.
Actully if you want the game at its cheapiest go on Ebay.com/uk and buy the game you can get the Bouns pack included for around £/$40.00 maybe a bit more (Bonus aswell as game) The bonus is you get Sgt.Johnson and the storyline set for Halo ODST is that you are a O.D.S.T Code named
The Rookie
and it is set between Halo 2 and Halo 3 (I have seen part of the Misson) There is also a new mode where you can do Firefight its a new Multi-Player mode and there is Extra's which when released you can get Halo Reach (Something on it) anyway the story is you have to destroy the last covenant ship in the area where ODST's have been fighting your in your pod and the ship Go's Hyperspeed into space so you and your team go off course and land on a planet you maybe the only surviver that is all Ino (It's out Tommorow)
Remember in Halo 2 when that ship slipstreamed out of New Mombasa? Well that destroyed the entire city(as you saw in Halo 3, cause you go back). When they slipstreamed the ODSTs were mid jump and the pulse of the slipstream made them get all fucked up. So you crash alone and need to find your crew.
halo 3 odst is a whole new story-line. in multiplayer they took hoard from gears put that into halo took out the halo3 on disk maps and added 3 more. Basicaly its like a gta expansions for 60 bucks.
Actully the next game of Modern Warfare is not CoD 6 it's just called Modern Warfare 2 not Call of Duty Modern Warafre 2 (Sorry this is a bit off topic) Anyway I'm not advetscing but you should check out my thread I have alot of information about the game
