Post your own killer fortress or try your hand at crushing the castles of others. For users posting their own creations, please consider the following guidelines:
Give your castle a title. This will allow other members to easily reference it in their comments. Show off your work with a screenshot. A great tool for screenshots and videos is Jing. Provide a description or hint. If your castle has any notable features or specific tactics make sure to let people know about them. Don't forget your link. Simply copy the link directly from the Crush the Castle Players Pack editor and paste it in your post.
We had a ton of fun making this game and are really looking forward to seeing what you can do! Who knows, me may even use it in another version of the game.

How to Load a Castle:
Simply click on a shared castle link and you will be directed to the game immediately. The game will then load the castle take you right to the editor. Click Test Castle when it's loaded to try it out. It's just that simple!
How to Save a Castle:
Start up the Build and Share area.
Build your castle and click Share when you area ready.
I found this - did not make it, but it was interesting. The original was made of iron and lagged so bad, it basically sucked so, I turned it into wood and he lagging rapidly stopped. I also turned it into stone and the lag dropped off quicker. I tried with 3sb's but ended up with an SB.

Has anyone gotten the Double Pault yet? If the sentry dies on the flip, don't bother resetting as nothing changes and he lands in the exact same spot!
I tried the Dbl Pault and as you say the sentry kept dying 3 out of 4 times. I fiigure you have to hit the king on the top of the head and bounce to the vertical tower. One time I did it but din't have enough ummph at the end.
When I did get it to work, I nicked the king on the head, killing him but he remained standing, and the stone hit the late drop-in ramp at speed. Actually, I think that last ramp accelerated the stone to the wall and all were killed. I also hit another shot (timing was critical) which hit the second ramp which launched the stone, dropped the princess who was launched back at the King killing him - however, the queen survived - an awful waste of time. Eh?
The happy Royals venture away to the cottage although one princess is feared to have herpes so she goes to the doctor! Does she or doesn't she? Just in case, a tired old sentry drops by to protect the royal family...

This is a modified Reset, Scroll Right and I am looking for feedback because even though it works on both my computer s, I need your input. The sentry flip, fall down is still an issue but the others as well as the element flips are in question. If it works for you okay. If it doesn't, I need to know.... Then, I will finish this production.
If Reset doesn't work on my computer it's because I hit it too many times trying to get your royals to live sfter Test. One is always dead, sometimes the princess on the roof, or the sentry althoughg he sometimes sleeps instead, or sometimes it's the king dead on takeoff. More importantly, where is this cottage you speak of...looks more like a construction zone. And where is the doctor. I'm confused, maybe this link went to a different level too...LOL. Is this another of your share edits?
You almost had it with CJ's Drop-ins. When the sentry we for a nap, I though he was going to expire. BUt then the one that landed on the roof (left side) did bleed out after sliding dow the edge of that roof element. 1/18 killed at start. And still no cottage.
Ha ha ha ha - if it works on your computer Chupie with a reset, SUCCESS! Yeah! The first one - reset yada yada was real flakey and the princess 14/15 times got herpes so I moved her .05 of a pixel and now she mostly survives. The sleeping first sentry sometimes dies as does the second but, for the life of me, I got tired trying to get him to stand off of that awkward flip. Once I got the roof to work, I didn't touch him any more.
I've got stuff coming in from -20000 so it takes a bit of time!!!
PS - it is the desert dude, they don't need a roof for a cottage!!!
@Baconboy, go to thread 72 to find your level on your computer but, I suspect it has been deleted in your sol file. If you posted it on this thread, you will have to go back and find it manually!
Cj, I only use this site now so I don't manipulate the code. You remember I was playing the other site and you lured me over here. I see you still play both sites. Everything in my levels is placed in the window, nothing in the -20000 range. I will work on and issue another in my series of Ultimate Designs.
@chupie, you might want to see thread 72 to figure out how I code this stuff. Basically I build it on the ground and then move it up using MS word or wordpad using the "sol" file that is generated when you save the game. The conversation moves on from 72 plus...
That way, I can move a character by fractions of pixels to make it work whereas, on the editor, it is hit and miss. Sometimes I use the old site to test stuff and retrieve my sol file switching computers. I posted the last game on there but had to change some stuff as it didn't work due to the change in coordinates between the two games.
I lured you here because you have talent and "out of the box" levels that go beyond the normal. I always wait for your next one!
