I love the realistic motions of GTA IV. All the other GTAs are laughable, what with the like on-rails turning and sprinting and stuff, but GTA IV has the characters ducking and weaving and turning and tumbling, which all togeter makes it incredibly real. All the NPC's have a nice extra coat of CGI too, which makes it look inredibly real. I could only ever ask for maybe more replay value, than just wandering about and phoning friends.
GTA IV was weak. The graphics, detail, physics, etc, was great. But geez, once you have driven in one part of town, it's like all of the rest. 90 degree corners everywhere and no place to really open up the Infernus. Of all the GTAs, San Andreas I played the longest. GTA IV was beat 2 times; bored. But there's no doubt GTA IV had some awesome online play.
I could give you the same advice my father gave me when I turned 18:
You don't have to pay her if she's dead.
But seriously, become friends with people when you get their phone numbers. You can get some great bonuses, like the guy who sells guns out of his trunk.
