^I like saying that phrase when someone says "I know (blah blah blah)."

What is 'knowing' something? What you think is true?

The truth could be facts. Facts change with time.

All that is certain is that nothing is certain. Now go read a book.

You always think you know, you never really know.

Knowing something is thinking something that is true. Thinking something is that it might be true, might not.

The intelligent person is never 100% certain that what he is saying is correct, the overconfident person always thinks that he cannot make mistakes.

That is totally true. At one time, we all truly and wholeheartedly believed that the Earth was flat. I think that the words of Socrates put it best:
"True wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing"
Brilliant.
Or should I say...is it brilliant?

Socrates also said:
As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.

Yes?

I don't know.

Knowledge is gained through observation, proved through experimentation, and recorded with a pen. Or... something.

But who knows. Just because the experimentation goes right the first time doesn't mean a different result will come from a second experimentation.

Or something. I don't really know.

"I think, therefore I am."

Only thing we can truly know for sure is math, methinks.
