I have played a lot of the halo games that are out right now. all of them together have a great story line so i think Bungie should halo developed into a movie.
no way. it would be terrible. the story line is good but the movie would have to go through all of halo 1 2 + 3. it would take forever to show an interesting story for each place mc went.

It was being made but then it was scrapped. Instead they started making district 9.
Personally I'm glad they did. The movie is brilliant.
Video Games as a rule should never be made into movies. They make horrible adaptions. See Resident Evil.
Windshift you have no evidance they might still be making one. I done this topic in the media fourm, The Movie is ment to be Called Halo : Reach the storyline will come from the game Halo : Reach which is being released next year.
if they make a movie like they did the ODST live actiaon commercial it could be good, infact they could leave chief out of the movie all together, id reather follow the story of the regular guys
They could make it like 2 best mates and they are fighting in the war and half-way through the movie on of the guys can die or something. BTW I have seen a trailer it's funny a Marine gets a sniper rifle and is sniping Elites when a Brute with Gravity Hammer comes along and hits him and a medic has to fix him and a Brute with a spiker shoots the injured guy in the arm and around his body LOL!
The transfer to the cinema would be a "little" terrible; i can't possibly imagine an actor to perform Masterchief as cool as he is in the game nor cortana...for Captain Keyes i would say that Gibbs from NCIS would be great but i would say no...although i would like to see halo as a movie they would probably kill it as Silent Hill Resident Evil Alone in the Dark ect
