called the E-Cigarette, uses some crap to give the Nicotine rush but doesn't actually use Nicotine or any fillers or tar n crap. so it's healthy for you, but it's just like smoking a cigarette!

plus: no more second hand smoke danger. welcome to the future: we can smoke in public again!

it's not an actual cigarette.

it doensn't use nicotine, fillers, tar, etc.

it runs off of a battery (which is the butt) and you put refillers on the end. (and can come in disposable form)

it's not "just as bad" as a cigarette, it's not harmful for you (doesnt matter which source you get it from), and is hailed as "healthy" and "could be healthy" from many news sources.

ah, apparently the FDA doesn't believe it, and says they're not healthy. but, at any rate, it's healthier, which is a hell of a lot better than any regular cigarette.

I don't see why you would want a so called healthier cigarette. It's only going to prolong the inevitable effects of smoking.

maybe they want to prolong the inevitable effects of smoking?

i don't think you get it that yes, cigarettes are bad, but most people who use them want to quit, and i probably hear someone tell me "never start smoking cigarettes" about once a week. the fact that there is a product that gives the exact effect of smoking without any or as much effect on the user is great, so that smokers could ween themselves from cigarettes without having to keep smoking tar for months WHILE they ween themselves off.

One cigarette reduces your life by 11 minutes

according to recent studies. even if it's not healthy, it's not even nearly as bad.

we found a difference in life expectancy between smokers and non-smokers of 6.5 years.

6.5 years=2374 days, 56 976 hours, or 3 418 560 minutes
5772 cigarettes per year for 54 years=311 688 cigarettes
3 418 560/311 688=11 minutes per cigarette.

studies done on a very wide range of male participants.

For me a spliff is a healthy cigarette.

I agree with that fact that a healthier cigarette is possible, but not a ["healthy" one. The whole concept of a cigarette eliminates the possibility that it could be healthy. And by saying "healthy", you imply that it benefits you; does it?

I agree Bronze.
I just feel so pissed sometimes at the people who sell cigarettes. They're selling this drug, which they know is addicting, and which they also know can cause a potentially fatal disease, just to get their money. I just wanna break somebody's nose!

1. The vast majority of people who sell cigarettes are just working a minimum wage job behind a desk. If they refuse to sell, they will get fired.

2. It is a person's right to smoke and put themselves at risk. You cannot blame the seller. For instance, would you blame the car salesman for selling a car to someone who got in a car accident? Absolutely not! It's an absurd notion to say the dealer is at fault.

3. Everything that is sold can kill. Fatty foods can lead to heart attack and obesity. Cars can kill. Videogames can cause seizures and lead to death. I could buy a lightbulb, smash it and use the shards to stab someone. If you want to ban something because it can kill, you might as well ban everything ever made.

Honestly I don't care if people want to kill them self by smoking it's none of my business, however if they do it around me it is my business and I will cough very loudly then go complain to our cities council.

no reason to be a bitch, samy. i for one enjoy second hand smoke.

exactly. so, acid, meth, etc should also be legal. also, i said this somewhere else....

in countries which legalized serious narcotics, and established a system in which those caught with said narcotics were simply given a class on the ups and downs of said narcotics, use of said narcotics actually went DOWN.

so, if we tell people what they're doing and how it's affecting them, instead of treating them like they have measles, there will be less use of serious narcotics.

No offence, but it's my frigin air to and since I'm doing nothing to it then you shouldn't be either. In private get do weed, smoke, or shoot some heroine (meth=no) but in public, no.

you fart. farting smells bad to others, AND damages the atmosphere. so, you ARE doing something to the air.

also, there's no evidence that shooting heroine damages the air.

You have no rights, to hurt me or for that matter my lungs. There fore you cannot smoke in public.

But it does damage the people who use it. And dead bodies make the air smell unpleasant. So in a way, you can say it does indirectly do something to the air.

Haha very true.

Don't get me wrong it's your choice to smoke, but it's not your right to do it when I'm there.

I hate to say it, but I don't believe there is any law against smoking cigarettes in public. Unless, of course, there's a "No Smoking" sign.
