I was very skeptical about this game at first, but after seeing some gameplay I am actually considering buying it. Any suggestions? Also, feel free to express your opinion of the game.
P.S. Is Darkest of Days for the Xbox 360, or just the PC?
I played through it twice already. I say that most people are wrong, they just look at the fact that it has somewhat bad graphics and put the game down. While the game does suffer (from what i have played) from lag when in very large battles, A.I. isn't the best but not too bad, long loading times. I was very surprised to see that X-Play gave it a 1/5, personally i think it gets a 6 or 7/10
After that, I do plan to get it. I don't think graphics are all that drive the game. Positives to the game: 1. MANY, MANY weapons 2. The unique time periods you visit 3. The duality between the war you and Dexter fight(Opposition) and the simultanious wars being fought around you(eras you are in). 4. A seemingly good story 5. Pretty solid gameplay
These are reasons I WANT to buy the game. I saw the level at the Cornfield of Antietam, and they got that pretty historically correct, except with the automatic weapons of course. I enjoy how they drive you through all the important parts of Antietam( Cornfield, Bloody Lane, Burnside's Bridge).
