I just bought the game the other day, and I have been pretty loyal to EA as far as sports go, buying every nhl game since 2001. Must say, its time to go to 2K games. The game sucks to be honest. The computer is insane on any difficulty, and gets away with cheap goals, sometimes scoring on 30% of their shots (any hockey fan knows that this is outrageous) and that is on rookie! To add to it, the controls are hard to grasp, either you play with R1,2 L1,2, and the thumbsticks (which is somewhat tricky) or play a primitive version with the triangle, circle and whatnot, but with half the functions. The online version also has problems with crashing, and is notorious for freezing your ps3(possible long term damage?) if you are thinking of buying it, rent it first... if u dont want to rent, ur probably better off with NHL 2k8
