I know, I'm a newb lol. Just wanted to know, what the hell that red circle next to everyone's username on their profile means??

It used to turn green when you are online, but now it does nothing.

It was removed because the optimization didn't like it. It slowed the site down tremendously. By liek 3%.

So they got rid of it, and forgot to take down the dot.

This is why I always say that instead of doing the impossible task of making it run faster BUY A F*CKING BIGGER BANDWIDTH LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE! DAM*!

oh ok thanks guys lol.

I hope they bring that back sometime if they find a way to implement it without it making things slower.

Now it is considered decoration. Try it out: post on the forum or comment, then refresh your profile page. It will remain red, which is supposed to mean you're not active. I think they took the coding for it out for it to work, but the picture remains.
