My first walkthrough EVER written so bear with me Game Frontier
Tip Many people say that this game freezes alot if you have it on 20x speed and run into a battle right after you finished a battle.
what you can do to avoid this is after you have won a battle wait for the map and the box which tells you where your traveling to reappear then hit the 'go' button, have some patience :]
Starting The Game when the game has loaded click 'lay' to begin an EPIC experience of bartering and killing after you have done that you will be at the 'main menu' screen. click on 'New game/continue game' a new screen will come up and ask you for permission to store data onto your computer because the game is so dang large and fun click accept. of you can decline. but if you click decline you cannot access your data if you decide to play again.
Creating Your Player Congrats! you have officialy started the game! make your character however you want! its completly UP TO YOU after you have customised your look you can use '6 points' these are used to decide what your character skills are to be. I highly recommend putting some on 'Attack' as it will be faster to kill enemys later on in the game, or not, if you want a challenge, like i said its completly up to you, dont forget to give him a spunky name
Learning How To Play You arrive in a town of 'Boghorn' and its your first day, and your screen should be in a tavern. a little box should come up asking if you want tutorials. i sugest if its your first time playing you should accept, or you can listen to me because im probly ganna explain them right...Now
Buy Tab #1 in this tab you can buy goods and barter them at diffrent cities to gain $$$ -save the more expensive stuff for later- and the goods with * next to them are ILLEGAL and if your party gets asked to search by enforcers you u might be in a pickle so lets keep them till we have got a better vessel and crew. Sell Tab #2 This is where you sell your goods you buy Remember buying goods then selling them in the same city WILL NOT gain you cash but you wont loose any either. Arms Tab #3 Where u can buy wepons to kill Friend or foe! Armor Tab #4 Where u can buy armor to protect yourself! Vessel Tab #5 buy a better vessel for more protection and be able to carry more party members and able to travel longer distances but you need specific goods to upgrade. Party Tab #6 shows your party and what they are equipting also shows your global reputation. but we will cover that later this tab also shows your statistics of how many victories you have had, how many people you have killed, how many surrenders you have done and how many times u have fleed Tavern Tab #7 this is where you can hire crew members for your vessel! but remember olny certin vessels can carry more members! Also you will notice a 'Trip Rate' cost below this means you will have to pay that ammount of gold each trip you make (going from city to city) and you have to pay them before you leave, so if you dont have enough gold then fire the member or sell some stuff! Guilds Tab #8 This is the tab where you choose your OWN destiny! Deciding if you want to follow the foot steps and join the 'Enforcer Guild'-Recommended for your second time play- or the 'Buccaneers Guild' i recomend this if this is your first time playing choose one depending on what i had said before, and i shall explain further later :] Travel Tab #9 Our last tab. right to the right, when we click on this brings up a map of the world and citys we want to travel too, also when we bring our mouse over the city it shows if the prices of goods decrease or increase! how handy is that?
