Which is better? Colder Earth or hotter Earth? I like the cold 'cause I start to feel uncomfortable when the temperature gets higher than 105 F or higher. But a cold Earth, I'm comfortable with.
Cold. With geo-thermal suits we can survive in ice ages, but fire ages, I don't know. I don't know if we have been able to do much with geo-thermal technology, but with it the cold would be no problem.
I'd actually pick a completely desert world just to watch the moral decay of society, and gain for myself some form of rudimentary power over them. I live in AZ, i has the advantage!! :P
What about vegetation? Fruits and vegetables don't do too well in even chilly temperatures, while it can get fairly hot and they're fine. Who needs fruits + vegetables?
Don't be stupid Blues. If it's so cold that vegetation can't exist, then wheat wouldn't exist either, and that is a quarter of the world's food supply. Also, rice and barley would die out, and that's another quarter of the world's food supply.
