I am a great fan of the Halo games, and Reach is surely the best, but I have to say that ODST was, by far, my least favorite of the games. To me, ditching the old, linear-style levels almost ruined the experience. And The Rookie is the worst video-game character by FAR. Sure, it sounds like a great idea to have someone stumbling around the aftermath of giant fights, but that makes him seem like the crappiest soldier in existence. And the story itself was fairly weak. But I have to say, Firefight was awesome, and they should definitely keep that in the series.
Halo Reach is definitely Game of the Year material. Awesome graphics, (they redid the whole graphics engine instead of reusing Halo 3's), amazing story line, addicting game play, and overall it was simply an outstanding game. I play it all the time and can't get enough.
Halo 3: ODST was the worst one, it was completely off-topic and a waste of time to create. That's my opinion though, I know some people really liked it.
Sorry but your wrong there. Halo 3: ODST was'nt a Halo game. And do you all wanna know why?
Because it sucked balls. Bungie did'nt really think it out I remember hearing about Halo 3: ODST and wanting it so badly then wanting so badly to go back to the shop and give it back. I am glad Bungie throught about Reach and have brought Forge and Custom Games back into view. From Reach it is a very sad storyline and also brilliant. The way Jorge and Carter sacrifice themselves is sad. The way Emme does'nt go down without out a fight is very nice and 6 aswell that was a great touch at the end taking out about 20 Elites before dieing. Unfortanley for Kat she just gets sniped. I have one big question though. All the Spartans are ment to be dead. And Hesley survived and all.
But what happend to Jun? On Lone Wolf (sorry if you hav'nt clocked it yet) You see his body in a destroyed building. But he went in the Pelican with Hesley and she survived.
But now does'nt it seem that we have fucked (Pardon my French) Master Cheif off and we want more Noble - 6. They should make another game about him. What from you ask? Well at the begininng Carter says to 6, I seen you file even the bits they did'nt want me to see, well why not make a game about 6 before he joined Noble Team.
