It's the number one best game for Xbox *sarcasim* . Lol its a good game for the xbox system, the best selling game on Xbox i think. But there are many good games out there , My favorite game is Uncharted 2 for PS3, Xbox Gears of war2.

-Facepalm.- It's a play on words. Halo isn't designed as a weapon to kill the Flood. It's designed to get rid of any possible food for the Flood. It 'cleans' not kills.

no, it was created by the Forerunners to defeat the Flood. Thus, the Humans were discovered by the Forerunners. They were intrigued by us, how much we were like them. Then, idk, XYZ happened, the rings were fired, everything not abducted by the Forerunners died, and the Flood moved on to another galaxy.

When the Covenant discovered the first human ship and detected a mass amount of Forerunner artifacts, the humans refused, they didn't have any. What the Covenant detected were the humans themselves. The connection with the Forerunners marked them as Forerunner artifacts. Thus, starting the war. This also explains why in Halo Wars the Covenant needed to capture a human to activate the massive Forerunner fleet, and in Halo 3 how the Covenant couldn't activate the rings until Johnson touched the eh... "Activation Sphere"?
