I've been poking around youtube lately looking for clues about halo 4, and there wasn't much, But ive seen videos about halo combat evolved anniversary, there is a sneek peak on the mission "The silent Cartographer",and it showed the gameplay and weapons. And I also found out that if you preorder the game, you get a bonus skull called grunt funeral, and when it is activated, whenever you kill a grunt, they explode like a plasma grenade
I'd like Halo more if you could create your own classes and had some larger maps. I can't play Halo like I play some other FPS games because it just gets too repetitive for me quickly. I like the idea and such of the Halo games, but classes would make it far more enjoyable to me, rather than getting assigned weapons from the host/creator of a room. And the campaign mode is usually too short for me; I beat it in about two-three hours. Just to mention, I've played Halo 1, 2, 3, and ODST. I think in the second one you could create a class or something, but I don't really remember because it was so long ago. But I liked being able to change the color of my character while playing offline, but I couldn't find the option to do that in 3 nor ODST.
Because that would be totally balanced, right? You can't just make any game like Call Of Duty and expect it to work.
I know, and I don't want it to be exactly like CoD. Many other FPS games use classes and they're good, or at least being able to customize/choose your weapons at start like in Counter Strike. But in Halo's current state you get the weapons assigned to me, and from what I've played it's the same old stuff.
We ALL know that it is coming out in Holiday 2012. Anyways, I think I might go for Halo Anniversary for Christmas, the graphics look A LOT better. I can't wait to check it out.
