I would say it will.
I just think that you should talk to the girl in person. Much better too. So that you get to know her better. And also you get to see what amuses her and see her expressions towards things.

I don't really know though. I've never asked a girl to go out with me over email or text unless they were already my girlfriend. But if there not then I haven't.

If you're not good with words, will sending an email or text to a girl, or asking someone else to do it for you decrease your chances? My idiot friends told one girl that I wanted to go out with her and I texted her and she said no.... But that was probably because she was sick xD So.... Should I ask her again or not? 2 questions here.

no girl is going to say, no i dont want to date you because im sick. shes just not into you if she said no

Seriously... 104 pages! I have a question, will a girl finding out about you being on this forum affect your chances? Seriously.

If a girl finds out that you are on this forum, simply find a picture of John's sexy face and say "this guy works here and he makes big bucks!"

You can be a geek/nerd/goth/emo/*insert common/uncommon stereotype here* and still be cool. I would say no, it does not ruin your chances of being in a relationship or being friends with the opposite sex. If the man or woman really cares that much about you being on a site that he or she doesn't want to go out or be friends with you, then he/she wouldn't be right for you. The guy will be too picky and narrowed about what you do throughout the relationship.
