Hey guys! Fable 3 is coming out soon! I don't know much but I know this much about the story: Based 50 years after Fable 2 - the Renaissance makes this enter a "Napoleonic" style, where it is split into 2 halves: 1) You're becoming the King of Albion. 2) A Foreign, I think Hostile Country is coming and you must react to it.
While you are going to be doing this I don't know much about the fighting styles - but being the king can be excellent, taxes, possibly making buildings, deforesting, managing resources.... Even training units and going to war with this country - bam! Who's to say that's all? maybe you lose the war, maybe you win, maybe you retreat into the mountains, build up your forces and fight once again, so far Fable 1 was very good, simple and fun. Fable 2 (though I had never played but seen on YouTube about) seemed very powerful in everything, and possibly the best single-player game of all time... Fable 3, being the king, possibly a rebuilt Guild of Heroes, maybe even seeing Theresa again, the spire may come back, and possibly Reaver may be back as well.
This is just what I know, they might add new things like professions, new items, battalions of soldiers under your command, oh, and I also know Bowerstone (atleast some of it) is going to be a tinker town with moving things and mechanized items... Instead of sheds and chickens like in Fable 1
Just a speculation, and this is the first Fable Game concerning outside activity, while some countries are talked about such as where Whisper and Thunder are from, they were never included in any way (except it's inhabitants coming over )

P.S There's also alot of forums on this on Lionhead Studios, the makers. P.P.S They're planning on Fable 4 & 5 too. P.P.P.S I'm quite sure (even though I never heard of any of this) that Crossbows are gonna be gone!
Fable 2 was a bit of a letdown. This whole king angle could really make things interesting though. I can't wait to see what Lionhead comes up with.
I'll be honest with you, the only reason I think people think it's a letdown is because they don't try every aspect, I've seen different forms and I think there are 36, which are possibly: Paladin Warrior Necromancer Mage Wizard Pirate Rogue Priest Crusader Hunter Marksman Duelist
I don't know if these are real, but they are multiple things, obviously Marksman Duelist and Warrior are quite neutral. Paladin Priest, Wizard are good. Rogue Pirate Necromancer are bad. It depends how you weigh them out, personally I wanna be a rounder, I'd shoot to stun you, move in to weaken and knock you down with an old-fashioned fireball
