hey guys, I just think that armor games overall is a pretty good site, but we could make it better by only using good games. So this is my Idea: we eliminate all games with a rating lower than 5/10. all new games have one month to gain a 5/10 rating or higher or they will be removed. just a thought, but think about how nice the site would be!
Actually, one of the reasons AG doesn't have thousands of games is because the staff filters them.
we eliminate all games with a rating lower than 5/10.
Many people rate games for points, and they don't always rate 10's... For example, many of the recommended games on Kong have low ratings, even though once you play them they rock. This happens in AG too: People rate loads of games low just to make points.
What about the people who WANT to play those games?
Yes, they should have a right to play those games. Just because some people didn't like it and rated low, doesn't mean non-users have to suffer from it.
The Mold Fairy 79,878 plays Rating: 3.8/10
Look at how many game plays: almost 80,000. That's still a lot, so people must not entirely hate it. Some people must be playing it, but the raters must not have liked it.
sorry baseball but I don't know, and that has nothing to do with this thread. Anyway, I did find a couple of games I liked, so sorry. Another Idea I had was first to lower it to 4/10 BUT don't delete them right away. the moderators could have a vote on a thread to who does and doesn't like the game. for instance, has anyone seen the game under misc. that isn't even a game? it really shouldn't be there.
well personally, i rarely end up rateing something under 5, in some occasions (like mold fairy) i rate lower then 5 but most of the games i play are fairly descent. Also some of the best games i ever playd have a terrible rateing. but also, i agree to this sugestion to some degree. i think they should delete games with rateings of 3 and lower, so that their wont be terrible games.
Normally, I'm picky about games. If there any kind of a glitch... I'll notice it. If there's any kind of choppiness in the animation... I'll find it. So therefore, I rarely rate games 10, 9 and a half, 9, etc. But what I don't usually do, is flame the author and tell them to go die in a hole and then rate there game a zero.
