where are you? you ask yourself,all you remembered was falling from the helios cliff,testing your new mech,will it be safe?and now,you are in this white room,on a bed,a lady passed you an old,but sturdy sword,at first,the red cross on her head startles you,but you realise that she wore a hat. looking around,you see a crest:a shield of red,with a light in the middle,suddenly,the door at your left opens,and a teen wearing a red robe waltz in,in a threatening way,though you never seen a boy like that,you jump into fighting stance,ready to attack with the blade given to you will you..... fight with the teen? try to escape through the door? wait and see what will happen? or ask the lady who is the red robed teen is?
a gigantic building lies in ruins behind you,you have been running for at least thirty minutes in this stuffy mech suit,the air is acrid,and you feel your legs turn to jello as you slow into a halt,the last escape dropship has gone,you are stranded alone in this remote island,since the war broke out,you were only trainingyour skills,thinking of tatics,andsparring with your friends,it fun,but your real reason was to join the eternal flame's commando squad,and this island is where all eternal flame commando going -to-bes are brought to,aa fight to the finish,once your tech suit finds that you are dying,you will be teleported back to your base in one of the many islands where you will be rated,you have eliminated three out of 14(excluding you) other candidates but your statistics screen shows that there is only 5(excluding you) more candidates to eliminate.beep beep beep your perception sensors have detected one enemy coming your way,and its big! as you wade back to try to aim a clear shot at it with your grapple claw,a laser barely misses you and you were startled,shooting your grapple claw at full strength,it hits the larger mech's arm hard and pulls you towards it,you land on it just in time,turning back,a red size mech stares back at you,it's suki's mech,not only is she top student,shes also one of the first girls to take pre commando training you know her well,a good friend of yours,but merciless in the battlefields and sparring ground,good thing you know her well,or you might have lost all chance to becoming commando,a well trained mech specialist,as quiet as a sniper what will you do? attack the big mech or suki's?
your father congradulate you for your victory,and gives you an extra coin as your reward(coins are alot!),as you take a sleep,you find yourself in a big glacier,you look around,suddenly,a small section of the iceberg breaks away into half,leaving a hole big enough for a small pond,then,an old man suddenly appears to your side,and tells you to watch what happens,this man looks fammiliar to you,but you watch what happens anyway,suddenly,thunder claps and it starts to rain,by then,you were so scared that you woke up in fright,the lights turn on,and your father looks at you,you realise you have a nightmare,and return to sleep,telling your dad that you're alright. the next day,the same dream haunts you,but you try not to think of it,as you pass the many buildings to reach your school,and you know your lessons will go well today,but you know that you will only have enough time for one lesson today,as you feel tired from yesterday's fight,do you want to attend..... higher order warfare studies? bladesmanship? or skip school(not considered traunt,dont worry) and go to the sea/cliff/mall/friend's hous/home?
as you have been taking your classes seriosly,your skills improved(level up!,add one point to any of your skills),but after school,as you walk home slowly in the busy street,you see a burly man walking past,he seem a little different,as in,not local,and seem suspicous,as if he is hiding something,he has a quick chat with one of the shopkeepers,and hurries off alone,you start following him,soon,you find yourself at the very caost where you fell off with your mech,the man starts looking for something on the floor,maybe it's not about you'maybe it's something the poeple who found you left,do you... go home and tell your father? ask the man what he is doing? look at him and try to figure out what he is looking for? or hide and continue watching him?
you hide behind the nearest tree,the man continues to look for what he is looking for,suddenly,he picks up a small,black object,before throwing it away again,it seems like it wasnt what he was looking for,he slowly walks towards you,eyes scanning the grass,thinking you're behind the tree,you hide yourself fully,suddenly,he picks up an object,a greyish spere,the size of a chicken's egg,and whispers into his wrist,which is covered with a jacket sleeve,before you could control yourself,you lunge at him,he blocks that quickly,and runs away so fast,you could never catch him,you quickly look around for something that might belong to him,you see a small keychain,just that it does not seem to be for a keyring,it has a symbol of an extremely out of this world graffiti which is yet so familiar,and talking about familiar,so is the man,and his fighting style,though not eternal flame like,but not surely un eternal flame,do you want to... go home without telling anyone? tell your father? tell kyle? or tell both of them?
you tell kyle,which seem really suprised about it,and as it was getting late already,you decided to sleep there overnight,which both kyle and your father does not seem to mind,but you just cannot sleep,you start thinking about what you would do,for some reason,the fate of the world seem to rest in your shoulders,but yet...never mind,as you slept. as you slept,you had the same dream,but this time,you knew what will happen,and did not feel scared anyhow,but this time,the dream was continued,as the thunder clapped,your ears detect the sound of machinery ,you look left,it was some kind small craft,shadow wings,the eternal flame's best aiorcraft,which can also turn into makeshift mini mechs,and the crafts were headed your way,but this is a dream,you wont die,but from the right,many mechs with the symbol of the scarlet guardians greet you,with weapons raised,they fire the fleet of shadow wings,the sound was deafening and you woke up with a start,you look at the clock in your guest room,0327,a little way too early,but it's acceptable,do you... go back to sleeping? poke around to check whos awake? get up and walk around to wake yourself up? or prepare to go home?
as you walk out of your room,you start to look around,no one awake except for the patrol officers,which is now happily drinking coffe,grey,mack and kyle are sitting on another table a little farther,you spot kyle wiping tomato sauce on his cape while eating,and you walks towards him,and starts to laugh,he looks at you,and starts to laugh as well,you ask him whats so funny,and he tells you that you're still in pyjamas,you think of that and starts to walk back to your room,kyle asks you if you want to go back now,he looks asthough he have been having sleepless nights as well,though his face is almost as cheery,do you... continue sleeping? get dressed andgo home now? stay for a while more to do some real blade fighting? or ask kyle if he have been having sleepless nights as well?
as soon as you aasks him,guilt seems to shine in his eyes,"yes,i have,i dreamt of winning the war,but not the way i wanted it to...i killed many more soilders than expected,and both sides will hate me for my undecisive planning,and i saw that man you described at the cliffside,lets hope ill be better,but...never mind" listening,you slowly think if your dreams were connected to his,and that man,who is he?but you dont have the answers now,and you know it well,do you want to... get dressed and go home? stay for a while more? ask kyle more about his dream?
"it wasnt a dream actually,i was finalising some battle plans,when i fainted,wierd,and i saw the "dream",i was sending wave after wave to destroy their base,some big mechanical scarab like mech,a multi control mech with six legs,at a derert like area,sand was all over my face,and whats worse,blood was all over others,but my men would be ready to sacrifice themselve for me,its because...jason died in it,or thats what i saw,that really scared me,you were there too,with jason,if the plan was in order,but i dont knew whether you were dead or alive,but,never mind..." hearing his story,you proceed to tell him yours,he does not seem to have any connection with yours,so you forget about it having any connection,hearing this,do you... get dressed and get ready to go home? or stay for awhile more?
