High School Detective is a cool point and click adventure game where you are a troublemaker sent by the principle to find out who poisoned the schoolâs star football player so he canât play in the big game tonight. There are four main suspects, all of whom have reason to poison Rip. Thereâs Bunny, his girlfriend, who is mad that other girls all want him. There is the coach who has a chronic gambling problem and loses money because Rip refuses to throw games. There is Baxter St. Baxter who is the second string quarterback and wants Rip gone, and then there is the mascot, who actually likes Rip so you can throw him out of the suspect pool.
You will eventually beat this game if you just click on all the options. But there are a few main points you need to know. First go to the nurseâs office to talk to the nurse(who wants Rip badly). Try out all the dialogues until you run out of options, then go talk to Bunny and try all the dialogues. After that, go talk to Baxter St. Baxter and try the dialogues. Heâll deny it, but heâll send you to coach. You have to get the key from coachâs drawer so use the lines that will distract him(the last one being the Lindsay Lohan is naked on the football field) so you can grab it. Use the key to open Baxter St. Baxterâs locker to discover the mascot mask and honey. Then talk to the mascot(get him off the hook first). After that, go to the security room and use all the dialogue to get the security guy to leave the office so you can watch the tapes, wherein its revealed that Bunny was the one who did it. After that, go to coachâs office and listen in. Use the dialogue to get everyone involved together and apprehend Bunny and you win. You should apprehend the wrong people also, just to see the different endings.
