The purpose of this topic is to teach or give walkthroughs to new people on Colony. I would like you, Colony pros put some of your strategies here. You dont really have to put them, but I just want some people to learn how to play that game, cuz there are alot of noobs there. Have fun posting your strategis right here.

well i give u the basics for 1v1 battles

if u dont use both forge and outpost u will most likely lost to all rank 7 players

biulding armory 1st is a weak move

dont use glads sakata spiders groditz or marines uless u r performing a tatic

Mass phantoms - 1 armory. 2 banks upgraded. And 1 forge.
Mass tanks - 3 armories, 1 outpost.

Some basic counters (in a normal game):
Hovers: build phantoms or snipers (or more hovers and romans as a shield)
Phantoms: build sakas (marines are also possible, but less effective)
Sakas: build hovers (or any ground unit)
Black queens: build sakas (or more black queens)
Romans: build black queens (or any air unit)

The other units are generally less effective.

My favourite way.. BRUTE FORCE.

Build black [anything] and build a barracks as well as phantoms. Then they will lose (most of the time).
