The linking works the same way as the ones in forum, therefore,you can simply copy and paste a link you made here to your Profile (I do that a lot. It's ways easier). And there are no problems when you do it.
If you already have a link on your Profile, copy and paste it to again and edit the link itself (You should be able to see it) and retype the name.
