if you have a problem with a user confront them about it; problem persists/goes haywire get a mod or other higher authority.

Along with what Graham said with the threads being full of spam, the forums need to be diverse. Meaning, we can't have 15 threads of the same format (vs, rate the _____ above) going at the same time. That's usually what spurs mods to ban the format.

If there are diffrent Vs threads with diffrent Vs people example: "Stalin vs Hitler" or "God vs Rock" that sprouted at the same time it isn't spam nor do they deserve to be banned.

If the "users" spam on it a mod should type in the thread to stop spamming or they'll be banned for a littlem, not lock the whole thread itself right?

You're actually quite wrong. Repeated ARE spam in the fact that when the person knows that they are duping it, they are spamming.

So TSL. when do you plan on trying to get artists showing off their art removed from the Art, Music, and Writing forum?
